Basilica is a board game for 2 players. Players take on the medieval masters of construction, who are to jointly erect a cathedral. Players must plan your moves wisely, because every mistake will be used by the enemy. Show your cunning and guile, carefully plan your moves, to gain eternal glory.

The plan of the cathedral is formed by placing tokens on the table, representing the differing design and architecture of the cathedral. Then the players deploy their divisions - craftsmen, masons and carpenters, who will implement the project. Players strive to ensure that simultaneously achieve two objectives: First, to create the tokens of the cathedral as the largest areas in one style, or color, and secondly, to have in each of these areas more than the opponent's.

The passage of time symbolizes the king's special division moved along the track scoring. Every few steps the king encounters one of the boxes denote the visit of the ruler. During the royal visit, assess the progress of work and gives the players victory points. Each participant receives points according to the size and number of controlled areas.The larger and more numerous are the areas under the control of the player, the greater the reward. He who by the end of the game accumulates the most points wins.
