Frequently Asked Questions

When will you post my games?
Orders placeed before 12 (noon) will ship same working day. Orders placed after 12 will ship the next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will ship on the following Monday. Please note Parcelforce24 is a next working day delivery service (i.e. Monday to Friday) . We do not post games at the weekend or on Bank holidays.  

Is it in stock?
Yes. Games are in stock and ready to dispatch unless they are Marked ‘Out of stock’ (and you will not be able to add ‘Out of stock’ Items to your shopping cart).

The only exception to this is with pre-orders.  A game which is available to pre-order will be clearly described as a pre-order in the game description and the date that it is expected in the shop.

When will you post my order?
All orders placed before noon on a week day will be posted the same day - if placed after noon they will be posted the next working day. 

What is Parcelforce?
Parcelforce is a next working day delivery courier service - i.e. next day from the postage date (not order date). 

Is the Game I am purchasing an English edition?
Yes. Unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Can I collect games?
Yes. However it must be by arrangement. Collection is from our warehouse in Braintree, Essex and is from Monday to Friday (9am till 3pm).

Will you reserve a game for me?
Sorry no – we will try and ensure we have sufficient stock to make demand though.

You don’t stock a game, can you get it for me?
We can try!

Are your sale items damaged, or ‘Dents and Dings’
No – unless it specifically says in the description of the game

Where do I return games to?
Please contact us before returning games. Boardgameguru, Unit 3, The Studio Works, Coggeshall Road, Braintree, Essex, CM77 8EU. Please add a note to explain why it is being returned and ensure it is packed securely to protect the game from damage. 

What is the Hold delivery option?

We have introduced a new delivery option – Hold order. It will allow you to combine orders to save on shipping and to have games delivered at a time that is convenient for you.

How does it work?
  1. Not Ready for Your Order to Ship Yet?
Select hold as your delivery method during check out and we will store your games until you are ready for them to be delivered.
  1. Want to add games  to your held order Before it Ships?
Place your new order and select the hold shipping method during checkout and your new order will be held so they can be linked when you are ready to have your orders shipped.
  1. Ready to Have Your Hold Order (s) Shipped?
Once you are ready to have your order(s) shipped, email us at let us know. We will then calculate postage for the order and send you either a paypal or card request for the postage. Maximum cost of postage for any order in mainland  UK is £5.85

Payment is required in full at time of purchase for all orders

If Hold is selected as the shipping method, the order will not ship until you contact us.
