1867 Georgia Reconstruction, South Carolina & Oklahoma Land Rush
Immediately following the civil war, the United States South was focused on rebuilding while expansion was prevelant in the west. This set of expansions focuses on this time and provides compelling changes to the Steam and Age of Steam mechanics. Each map contains rules for playing with either Steam or Age of Steam.
Oklahoma Land Rush
This 3-5 player Steam and Age of Steam expansion recreates the great Land Rush of the 1890's in Oklahoma. This map contains the following special features:
Westward Expansion: Players start on the east edge of the state and work to expand their railroads west to reach newly claimed land and their inhabitants.
Natural Resources/Goods: Goods are distributed all over the map ("St. Lucia Style"), requiring players to lay track out throughout the state to pick up and deliver those goods back east.
Players: 3-5

1867 Georgia Reconstruction
Immediately following the civil war, Georgia poured a lot of money into rebuilding the war-destroyed railroads as well as into new railroads. The money and privileges went to the highest bidder, usually in the form of secret bribes to high ranking government officials. This 2 player map contains the following special features:
Existing unclaimed track: Partially destroyed track is scattered throughout the state, allowing players to claim it and take advantage of it.
Limited Goods: Only three colors of goods are available for delivery, allowing for players to focus more on strategic planning as they build their rail network.
Unique 2 player bidding system: To determine turn order and access to limited action selection, a unique non-monetary bidding system is used that provides a twist on gameplay.

Age of /Steam Expansion: South Carolina
South Carolina’s economy was hit hard after the civil war. New railways were needed to connect Charleston with the rest of the state. Goods coming into the port of Charleston needed new railways to connect it with the rest of the state. Materials were procured from the north, and construction began from Greenville. In order to secure prime locations for building railways, bribes to government officials were the norm. Each route set up by the railroads required an additional instant cash bribe, making the once-lucrative railroad business a challenging proposition. This map contains the following special features:
Bribes to officials: Each goods delivery route set up requires a cash bribe at the time of delivery.
Charleston port city: Goods pour into the state from Charleston, one of the country's biggest port cities.
Limited Goods: Only three colors of goods are available for delivery, allowing for players to focus more on strategic planning as they build their rail network.
