A tasty Mojito, a fat cigar, hot salsa: we are in Cuba again. The capital of Havana is about to gleam in renewed splendor and many magnificent buildings are being constructed. Like everywhere else, it is money that makes the world go round here. Furthermore, players need building materials and construction workers. Sometimes the service of a skilled architect is important. There is wheeling and dealing everwhere and the black market is in full swing. And there are a few special ways to optimize the cash flow... Also, sometimes it might be wiser to take a siesta than plan any action.

Timing is crucial in Havana and the various action cards with their different values are vitally important: the high valued cards allow constructive actions, the low ones, however, give you a quick start in the current round and grant you early influence. Once in a while it might be wise to do without an effective card. You do have to observe the deals of your competitors as well, especially when the supply of action cards decreases.

The most valuable buildings have been constructed by the player who has met the best combination of effective actions and strategic planning. Hardcore gamers can show their experience and planning skills, but the casual, inexperienced gamer an be a serious competitor and surprising upsets are quite common in this game.
