  Target Earth

Target Earth

Strongly reminiscent of the legendary computer game X-Com, Target Earth is one of the 2010 Essen releases from the makers of 2 de Mayo and Mecanisburgo.

Combining both combat and diplomacy, the game is a struggle to win countries over to the side of those dedicated to resisting an alien invasion, while also trying to maintain a strong enough military to win battles - but doing both can be difficult. The aliens are played by the game itself instead of by a player, and their actions are selected at random, though they gain in strength after every turn.

Players: 1-4

Time: 90 minutes+
