The aged king sits in the highest tower of Titania and grieves because he does not yet know who will become his successor to the throne. His niece remembers Titania's glory and the sea towers that once stood around Titania and now lay in ruins. These towers were not only the splendour of Titania but they also showed travellers and merchants the way to Titania and ensured trade and knowledge exchange with other nations.

The king decides that the prince of Titania who best rebuilds the old sea towers becomes his successor. Therefore, the princes send out their ships on a quest for the most valuable sea shells to rebuild the sea towers and the glory of Titania.
