Frequently Asked Questions
Is it in stock?
Games are in stock and ready to dispatch unless they are:
1) Marked ‘Out of stock’ (and you will not be able to add ‘Out of stock’ Items to your shopping cart)
2) Marked as a Pre-Order, New Release or Restock (in which case an expected due date will be recorded at the top of the product page above the game description). Please note for Pre-Orders release dates can vary and are out of our control.
3) Marked as 'Please allow 2-3 days for dispatch' in which case the item isn't held in our core warehouse but is either available in storage or through one of our suppliers in which case we'll either move stock over to our warehouse or order it in for you.
4) Marked as 'Please allow 2-3 weeks for dispatch' or 'Special Order' - in which case the item isn't held as a regular stock item and we order the item in especially for you from overseas, thus the longer lead time. For items marked as special orders we usually provide an estimated time of delivery although obviously many international factors can make this quicker or later.
When will you post my games?
We aim to ship all orders placed before 12 (noon) the same working day if the item is in our main warehouse (please see above regarding stock). Orders placed after 12 will ship the next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will ship on the following Monday. We do not post games at the weekend or on Bank holidays. During the coronavirus pandemic, and at peak times such as Christmas, slight delays (usually of a day) may occur. Orders for pre-order items (or new releases, restocks of items marked 'please allow 2-3 days for dispatch') will be shipped as soon as stock is available.
Will you consolidate orders for postage?

Sorry no.
Pre-orders
If you mix pre-orders (the game description will tell youif its a pre-order) and in stock games in the same order then the whole order will be dispatched when the pre-order arrives in stock.
Is the Game I am purchasing an English edition?
Yes. Unless otherwise noted in the product description.
Can I collect games?
Yes. However it must be by arrangement. Collection is from our warehouse in Southampton Monday to Friday (10am till 3pm).
Will you reserve a game for me?
Sorry no – we will try and ensure we have sufficient stock to make demand though.
You don’t stock a game, can you get it for me?
We can try!
Are your sale items damaged, or ‘Dents and Dings’
No – unless it specifically says in the description of the game
Where do I return games to?
Please contact us before returning games. Boardgameguru, Unit 4, Manor Industrial Estate, Manor House Avenue, Southampton, Hampshire, SO15 0LF. Please add a note to explain why it is being returned and ensure it is packed securely to protect the game from damage.
