Golden Horn : From Venice to Constantinople
English rules included with the game
Description from boardgamegeek
The game sets the player back in time, when Venice was governed by the Doges. The way between Venice and Constantinople was heavily frequented. On his turn, the player decides if he wants to use the wind, to bring his ship faster into a harbour, or to join forces with pirates and steal goods from another player. The one who has the most goods in his warehouse by the end of the game wins.
A commercial route between Venice and Constantinople with a stop at Methoni is constructed with different length depending on the number of players. The players move their ships between Venice and Constantinople and try to buy goods in harbours or steal it from other players as pirates. In his turn, a player can use pirate-cards to board a ship on the high sea and to move his own ship; in the Starting harbours you players can load goods of all colours and if it reaches the end of the route you unload them into your warehouse and get new cards. On your way, you can play wind-cards for additional moves of the ship. A ship must not change directions unless it's emptied by pirates. At the end the goods are rated in sets with 4, 5 and 6 different goods.
