"Ships of the Line" is a game system that is designed to simulate naval battles that took place in the period from 1740 to the end of the Napoleon era in 1815.
"Aboukir" is the 2nd volume of this collection, and simulates the historical events that occurred in The Battle of the Nile -also known as the Battle of Abukir Bay-, it was a great naval combat fought between the Royal Navy and the Navy of the First French Republic from August 1 to 3, 1798 in Abu Qir Bay, on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt.
In this edition, the reader will find the confrontation in Aboukir Bay, between the British fleet, led by Admiral Nelson and the French, led by Admiral Brueys, a battle of 27 ships of the line and other auxiliaries.
Basic game with advanced rules to give more realism to the game, it is for 2 and more players depending on how the ships are distributed.
